User Experience Research
Typically, the goal of UX Research is to inform product features and design by querying users using a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods. Often, research studies are prioritized based on the product road map determined annually by business leadership in partnership with product and engineering.
When most companies think about User Research, they think about surveys, usability testing, focus groups, and A/B testing. Companies with more advanced research capabilities will move up the product development chain conducting foundational research in the form of exploratory interviews, and participatory design exercises.
UX Research answers questions like:
“Are my features discoverable and useable?”
“What features would be most valuable for us to build next?”
“How can I reduce the number of customer support tickets?”
“How can we increase our NPS?”
I can conduct research for you or train your team on any of these classic forms of user experience research to answer your most important questions and mitigate risk. I can also establish your UX Research practice from identifying talent and key methodologies to recommending program structure and tools.
